About Year 9, 2011
Year 9 Coordinator: Mrs Laurene
Weichman Home Group Teacher: Mr Yapp & Mrs
Adrienne Sloan
This year is going to be an exciting one in which the students will be challenged and asked to step out of
their comfort zones. Along with their normal classes they will be taking part in the “Year of
Challenge”. This will involve a City Research Challenge,Wilderness Camp, Community Service and Celebration
Dinner. All of these will require each student to dig deep, press into God and rely on each other, it will be a
time of transition, growth and stretching.
I look foreward in
walking through this process with your wonderful child every step of the way, learning more about them and
encouraging them to achieve beyond what they could imagine for themselves. Overall an action
packed year ahead. Please keep in touch throughout the year.
