Welcome to Heatherton Christian College
Heatherton Christian College is an independent Christian co-educational school for
students from Prep to Year 12. The College is located in the south-east suburbs of
Melbourne, not far from the Kingston Heath golf course. Heatherton Christian College is a member school
of Christian Schools Australia (CSA).
The College was established in 1999 with just 27 students from Prep to Grade 4. The current enrolment is just under 300 students and growing. We anticipate to grow to our capacity of 650 students in the next 5 to 7 years. The teachers are hand picked for their professionalism, are all committed Christians and are experienced in a variety of learning fields. Staff meet together each morning before school to pray and commit the day to the Lord. The College is about to begin a significant building program. The project includes a new gymnasium, community centre, new classrooms and a library. At Heatherton Christian College students' individual learning needs are recognised and catered for. The curriculum meets all Government standards but is Christ centred. The children come from Christian homes and from most denominations. The warm and caring environment ensures that your child grows academically and spiritually, reaching their full potential. Active parent participation is encouraged.
