Special Memories!

BREAKING NEWS!!!! Heatherton Christian College wins 2008 Christian Schools Sports Network Swimming Carnival at Melbourne Aquatic Centre. Well done to our fantastic swimming team!

 

Our annual VCE formal was held in August 2008. Below are some photos from this great event! Thanks to Mrs Burgess and her student team for a memorable evening!

 

 

 Harmony Day March 2009! The whole school dressed in clothing from another culture for the day!

Students from Grades 4 to 6 attended our annual primary school camp at Shiloh Ranch. Everyone agreed it was a fantastic camp!

Our Grade 6 students visit the Kingston Centre each week to interact with the elderly folk. We even met the premier, Mr Bracks!

 

We held a special 'Footy Day' in September to raise funds for the childrens' charity the 'Door of Hope'. We raised nearly $400 on this day! So far this year the students have raised over $1,000 for the Door of Hope.

Our annual house sports were held recently at Bayside Aquatic Centre. Well done to Carmel house on a great win!

Green Wedge Day 2009

Daffodil Day 2009

On Friday 22nd August all of the students in the school, both primary and secondary, wore yellow clothes to school for Daffodil Day. A gold coin donation raised funds for the Cancer Council. $400 was raised.

Pet Day
On Pet Day all of the primary students could bring their pet to school for a special pet parade. There was quite an assortment of pets including dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles and mice!

  

School Community Working Bee
Once a term we have a school community working bee. Work completed at working bees has saved the school thousands of dollars over the years.
