About Year 7, 2010

This year’s Year 7’s are an enthusiastic, talented and committed group who have a passion for the Lord and are proactive when they meet every morning for their homeroom devotions.

Every ‘Fabulous student ‘of year 7 is gifted with beautiful gifts and talents from the Lord which they will have to use from time to time in various activities and subjects. They are now settling down into secondary school and are starting to feel part and parcel of Middle school. They are in the process of learning of how things work, growing their wings and moving around confidently creating an identity of their own. They are in the process of building their godly
character by actively taking part in classroom discussions and activities, sport days, homeroom devotions, prayer groups, peer support, SRC, chapel, chapel band, the 7/8 camp and academic competitions.

In year 7 we aspire to see students:

  • establish good habits in classroom study,
  • in homework,
  • in working effectively with others,
  • and in time management.

We are also keen to develop a stable, nurturing Christian environment during these early teenage years, where there are many forces pulling on the students. We trust this year will be one of growth - academically, socially and spiritually for each child.
